  I have a wonderful smallholding with my beloved rescues and we are looking for someone to come and help us for just a few hours per week, maybe an hour a day, 4 days? It would just be very light work, feeding the sheep, chickens, cat etc. This position can grow into more in time, there are already helpers but we are all starting to require just a bit more assistance.

The post:

One day per week, 10 am to 3 pm, occasionally to 4 pm by arrangement, at the College of Arms, no remote working options. £15.60 per hour (£78.00 per 5-hour day) paid monthly in arrears under PAYE. This rate will also apply to any additional hours worked. Paid holidays - four days per annum. Holiday cover for other receptionists.  

Responsibilities and wider duties:

Assist the duty herald as required, working from a desk in the Earl Marshal’s Court. Receive telephone calls and emails from enquirers and redirect to the appropriate Herald or member of staff. Monitor CCTV cameras. Receive and control Heralds’ visitors and sightseeing members of the public. Sale of books and souvenirs from the gift shop.  

Long term proactive and reliable Domestic Couple sought to assist in the smooth running of property based in Hampshire.

Role duties will include mucking in where required with duties such as general day to day cleaning, laundry, ironing, brass polishing, vacuuming, pool maintenance and watering of plants. Gardeners employed therefore there is no significant outdoor duties/responsibilities required. Chickens are on site and feeding will be required. Daily meal preparation/cooking and serving of traditional family meals is required including lunch and dinner. The Principal does host dinner parties 3-4 times per year in which there would typically be a maximum of 30 guests.

Working Thursday – Monday or Friday – Tuesday, 8:30am – 5:30pm. One driver is required ideally with their own car.
