We are recruiting for a matron on behalf of a public school in the south of England. The role will be in a boys’ house although the school does have girls.

This is a full-time role preferably starting September but could start June 2023.

The main responsibilities of the role are to provide pastoral care, ensure that any safeguarding concerns are identified, liaise with parents, obtain prescribed medicines and issue as required and run the house surgery.

Ideal candidate would have boarding school experience although anyone from a nursing or social care background would be considered.

Salary will be £30,000

This position includes free accommodation and a generous benefits package.
