Carer/Companion/Travel Companion
Approximately 20-30 hours per week flexible

Carer/Companion required for mature couple living in a popular rural Derbyshire village.  
Duties include care for the couple including help with administering medication, tidying and general associated light housework duties, preparation of fresh meals, facilitating appointments as required and providing some companionship and support for the lady of the house.  The role may progress to help with personal care in the future.  Computer literacy with the ability to shop online will be helpful, as well as knowledge of in-house entertainment systems for example television and music systems, etc.  Dementia experience will be an advantage.  
Some weekend hours are essential, other days require flexibility including morning and evening shifts, and holiday and emergency cover, supplementing the hours of the existing senior staff member.  
There could also be the possibility of travel within the UK and Europe to accompany the couple on short breaks including cruises and visits to London and travel with them to their own property in Spain to provide assistance. 
This is a live-out role.  Driver with own car required due to rural location.  
Current DBS and recent checkable references are required.
