We are a professional married male couple with a small friendly terrier dog. He is a key priority, especially as we travel regularly. So, dog lovers are essential and if you have a friendly well behaved dog too, that’s great.

We are seeking a trustworthy, discreet and proactive couple that can work well managing all aspects of maintaining our household to a high standard. Situated in the heart of the ‘Valley of the Racehorse’ outside of Hungerford, Berkshire, this is a wonderful opportunity to manage a beautiful country home and gardens. We are seeking a talented, creative and self-sufficient cook that can cater for the two of us and occasional dinner parties. Must also enjoy housekeeping which will include laundry and ironing. Must be able to drive, to manage grocery shopping. The Maintenance Partner/Gardener, must care for lawns, parterres, formal hedgerows, mixed borders and a kitchen garden, producing vegetables and flowers for the house. You must be comfortable dealing with trades people.

The role will also include driving, running errands and upkeep of the indoor pool. Compensation includes, a newly refurbished and completely private, beautiful 2 bed flat within the house. All utility bills paid, including internet and council tax. Suitable for small dogs to accompany but not cats. Not suitable for young children. Working week will require some weekends but days off in lieu during the week. Joint salary offered £60,000 per annum.
