COUPLE REQUIRED – Maintenance person/Groundskeeper/Gardener and Housekeeper/Gardener – South Devon – start 1st May

 
Opportunity for enthusiastic, hard-working couple who enjoy rural life to help manage a small South Devon estate on a tidal estuary.

Maintenance Person/Groundskeeper/Gardener responsible for maintenance of properties, machinery and equipment, gardens, surrounding grounds and farmland 
and
Housekeeper/Gardener responsible for all housekeeping duties (except cooking) for main house, running two holiday lets and some gardening.

Will ideally have previous private household experience.  Previous position(s) should demonstrate commitment, application, initiative, high standards and high levels of loyalty and discretion.

Recent and relevant references will be important and security checks will be carried out. 

Must be cheerful, energetic and a non-smoker, and in good health.

Working hours: 5-day week (Monday – Friday), 8.30am-5.30pm, some flexibility required.

House and dog sitting (1 working cocker spaniel) whilst owners away.
Fluent English required.
Confident drivers with own car a must.

Independent on-site accommodation is provided in a lovely 2 bed property with all bills covered.  

Dog lovers essential.  No dependants; no cats.  

A competitive market-based salary is on offer depending on experience.

Start 1st May onwards.
