An enthusiastic, live-in handyperson and housekeeper required to assist full-time working couple with the smooth running of the household. Must be animal lovers to deal with 3 dogs, 1 cat and 7 chickens.

Housekeeper will be required to complete school runs / driving, ordering groceries, cleaning, and laundry. Two teenage girls need to be stimulated and engaged with (12 & 15) when they are not at school. (One full time boarder, one flexi-boarder)

Handyperson will be required to complete gardening, general maintenance of the property, driving and odd jobs.

Requirements:

Gumption, self-motivated, hard-working, energetic, social, organised, disciplined, sense of humour, willing to muck in, robust, empathetic with a good imagination for outings and trips.

Must be good drivers with clean licences, fluent in English, physically fit, non-smokers, with good references and up to date DBS.

Pets welcome, start asap, rural location, occasional weekend extra work.

Package:

£40k combined salary plus car.

Accommodation provided in attached one bed recently refurbished cottage, with bills included, and 4 weeks holidays per year.

Hours:

Full time, averaging 35 hours (some flexibility), 5 day week plus 1 evening per week for hockey lifts.
