Energetic Domestic Couple based Near Andover, Hampshire – Start ASAP

We are on the hunt for a strong housekeeper/gardener couple to join a very large and beautiful home near Andover in Hampshire.

The position requires no cooking, and there are other support staff within the team therefore the role is shared responsibility.

The housekeeping duties include:

• Traditional Housekeeping such as vaccuming, dusting, polishing, mopping and wiping down surfaces

• Laundry, ironing and fabric care

• Care of antiques and delicate items

• Provisioning for the household and stock inventory

• Dealing with contractors, post

• Cleaning out the fridge, getting rid of expired items

• Running local errands

• Working with another part-time housekeeper.

Gardener duties:

• Light gardening, working within a team

• Walking the dogs, dog sitting when the family travel

• Mowing the lawn, hedge cutting, sweeping patios, caring for outdoor furniture

• Handyperson duties and light maintenance

• Driving the principals when required.

The days/hours of the role are Monday to Friday, 9am – 5pm with house sitting required when the family are away. You will need full, clean drivers licences and a vehicle of your own.

The ideal couple will be proactive, team players, energetic and keen to get stuck in with the household.

The accommodation offered is a 2 bedroom, large new-build cottage onsite.
