A welcoming, artistic and creative family based in Surrey is seeking an experienced Nanny to care for their bright and inquisitive 2-year-old girl.

This is a full-time position based in Surrey with an international family of touring musicians, caring for a happy and curious toddler. The role will incorporate regular shared care of the child alongside family members, in particular the child’s mother who, despite a demanding full-time career, is very present and hands-on and has a flexible schedule that allows her to be closely involved in her child’s day-to-day life and all key decisions and developments.

The Nanny’s schedule will be highly flexible both in its hours and days, including some evenings and weekends, with periods of more intensive hours required when travelling or based abroad. Responsibilities will include preparing and cooking healthy, balanced meals for the child and managing child-related household duties such as laundry, books and toys and wardrobe organisation. The Nanny will be expected to maintain a clean and tidy home environment in relation to the child and to be a cooperative, helpful, and a collaborative member of the household.

Essential:

• Minimum of three years’ experience caring for this age group or hold a relevant childcare/Montessori training
• A love of nature and music
• A native or bilingual level speaker of any language other than English and willingness to communicate with the child in this language
• Valid passport and the ability to travel internationally without visa constraints
• A valid DBS check (or willingness to obtain one)

• Must be confident in planning enriching, age-appropriate activities involving outdoor play, music, and creative learning, while supporting important developmental milestones.
