Guardian/Housekeeper Required – Provence France (Couple considered) 

Guardian/Housekeeper required for seven bath/bedroom home in Provence France for a married couple, no children.
The house is a country home, used primarily at weekends and during the peak holiday periods.  
The role is one of guardian when couple are absent and housekeeper while present. 
 
Duties to include but not limited to:
Keeping the house clean to a high standard with attention to detail .
Meticulous care and ironing of linens.
Management of the budget allocated to shopping.
Meal preparation, table service.
Watering the terraced parts of the house maintaining the Pool-house.                                                                                                                                                                                    Use of the house car for train collections and shopping runs Management and supervision of tradespeople on site so must be a good communicator.

English and French required but fluent French not essential.
Previous experience in a similar role is essential.
Must be a driver, have excellent references and recent DBS.

We will provide a separate lodging house, air conditioned, full fibre optic internet & television with its own bed/bath/kitchen/living rooms and separate gated entrance.  

Applications are open to domestic couples where the partner holds a Gardner/handyman skill set. (Pet friendly)

Salary is competitive, to be negotiated.
