HOUSEKEEPER–NANNY (COULD ALSO SUIT A COUPLE)

Exceptional Long-Term Live-in Opportunity –  Private Family Home, South Oxfordshire

We are a warm and welcoming family living in the beautiful Oxfordshire countryside and are looking for an experienced, caring and highly organised Housekeeper–Nanny to become a valued member of our household for the long term.

This is a varied and rewarding role that combines childcare with housekeeping responsibilities. We are looking for someone who is proactive, enjoys cooking, and takes pride in creating a happy, organised and well-run family home.

For the right applicants, this position could also suit a couple. We can offer approximately 15 hours per week of additional work for a partner, which may include gardening, general property maintenance and driving duties.

Main Responsibilities

1. Providing before and after-school care for our four children, aged 3 to 11 years. 

2. Supporting the children's daily routines, activities and school holiday care when required. 

3. Working closely with the family to ensure the household runs smoothly and is maintained to a high standard. 

4. Keeping the kitchen, playroom and children's bedrooms clean, tidy and well organised. 

5. Laundry, ironing and wardrobe management. 

6. Household shopping and menu planning. 

7. Preparing delicious, healthy family meals using fresh, seasonal ingredients. 

8. School runs and other driving duties as required (a full, clean driving licence is essential). 

Excellent cooking skills are an important part of this role. We are looking for someone who genuinely enjoys preparing wholesome, home-cooked meals and takes pride in cooking for a family.

Working Hours

1. Approximately 50 hours per week. 

2. The day is generally split, with duties before and after school, allowing for a break during the day while the children are at school. 

3. Occasional weekend assistance may be requested by prior agreement, with time off in lieu provided. 

Salary & Accommodation

A competitive salary is offered, dependent on experience.
