Housekeeper and Driver/ Maintenance/Gardener Domestic Couple job, near Salisbury. The Estate that is nestled in the beautiful countryside is home to a retired Couple and their 2 dogs (Dachshund and Labrador). One part of the Couple will be responsible for housekeeping duties such as general cleaning, laundry and cooking. Making of simple lunches and occasional assistance with dinner preparation. The other part of the role will involve driving the principal to pheasant shoots and acting as his loader (training can be provided). Other duties will involve daily driving, car and household maintenance, window cleaning, building fires and occasional help with school runs for the grandchildren who live locally. When the principals are away, the Domestic Couple will be required to pet sit and provide household security. The estate has other staff including a gardening and maintenance team, therefore the Couple should be happy working alongside others. Hours for Housekeeper Monday – Friday 8:30am – 5pm, with lunch break. Hours for Driver/maintenance/gardener Monday – Friday 7:30am – 4pm with lunch break. Accommodation provided is a 2 bed cottage located in the stable yard. No garden although the property is nearby to fields and woodland. The property is suitable for a dog to accompany and an older child. All bills covered by employer, not including phone/wifi. Salary on offer up to £70,000gpa dependent on level of experience.
