Housekeeper/Cook at a beautiful country house in north Essex. 

The position is long-term with a salary of £37,000 p.a. and a two bedroomed house on the estate, rent free but paying usual tenant’s expenses. A five-day week with four weeks annual holiday.  Would consider a couple to include a gardener. 

You must have a friendly and calm disposition with good initiative.  You will need references, be able to drive and have no dependent children. 

Your duties will include cooking to a good standard for the family of two with occasional entertaining. You will be responsible for running the house including managing and assisting cleaning staff and the care of animals.
