An opportunity to support and care for kind and friendly woman with a love for flowers gardening, board games, quizzes and crafts. She is very sociable. Mrs J enjoys peaceful moments in garden, sharing a tea and a chat with friends and her family. Occasionally uses wheelchair at weaker times during the day. 89 years of age, Mrs J has coped well with Parkinson’s for a number of years and is returning to her home after a period in hospital and a care home. Mrs J requires a hand to wash and dress, enjoys tasty meals, loves nature and has a good sense of humour. 

We are seeking an experienced Live-In carer with an understanding of Parkinson’s care to provide:
Daily routine support and reassurance
Conversation, 
Healthy meal preparation
Light general housekeeping including laundry.

Requirements:
Parkinson’s care preferable, along with a compassionate and attentive approach.
Eligible to work in the UK.
Have a minimum of one years’ experience.
Passed DBS check.
Medication management experience

The apartment home is bright and modern with 1hr a week housekeeping provided, has full laundry room facilities. There is communal seated patio area amongst the small gardens. Train station within a 7 mins walk.  London Southend Airport is 1.7 miles away from the apartment. Great connections. ! 

We have other people including family members who take part in Mrs J’s care. You would be part of a team.
