Residential Carer, Companion and Housekeeper required for a lady who is currently living in Lewes and has early onset Alzheimer’s.

We are specifically seeking Carers who have strong experience of dementia from the early stages through to the later stages to ensure continuity of care and this position is for the long-term. Ideally, you will be gentle, patient, discreet and persuasive.

The appointee is expected to provide companionship as well as practical support and to encourage our client to maintain an interest in things which she enjoys doing such as jigsaws and attending arts and craft classes.

Our client requires a driver (preferably with own car) to take her to her appointments, classes, workshops and to take her for days out.

Assistance is required with personal care, shopping and cooking.

Our client will be moving to either Tunbridge Wells or London (where her children are) by August 2026. Her house has been sold, and the family are sourcing another home currently. It is hoped that the Carer is open about relocating to either location as this support during our client’s move will be invaluable to her.
