Our client, a lady in her late 80's is seeking a Live-in Carer on a two-week rotation to assist her in her bungalow in a village location near Hereford.

The lady was recently diagnosed with dementia and is still quite active for her age.

Our client is still coming to terms with her dementia and struggles when she cannot remember things. Our clients are well supported by family who live nearby.

The successful candidate must have experience with working with dementia, be proactive with encouraging our client to engage in interesting activities so that her week has some structure.

You must be able to cook meals from scratch, have excellent communication skills and have a good sense of humour!

A driver with own car.

Accommodation is a double bedroom with own TV/sitting room and use of a family bathroom.

A very competitive salary is offered.

Start date of 28 December is preferred (to hand over with the other carer).

Recent checkable references and an enhanced DBS is required.
