LIVE-IN CARER, HAMPSHIRE

A kind, warm, patient and capable live-in carer is needed in Hampshire’s scenic Meon Valley to assist a husband to care for his wife in her 60's suffering from Parkinson’s and dementia symptoms. Hours flexible (av. 30-40 p/wk) and work variable (to include some cleaning, cooking, gardening, etc.). Accommodation consists of a detached 2-bedroom annexe (with small garden), separate from the main house and grounds. This would suit a country-loving individual looking for a long-term position. Experience with PD and dementia would be a benefit. A shared interest in such things as gardening, wildlife, walking and art would be a bonus. Care experience, a current DBS, checkable references, and up-to-date vaccination against Covid are essential. Terms negotiable.
