Looking for a Live-in Carer to help family with busy life in Gloucestershire. 44 years old have spinal cord injury and live with husband and two children (7 and 5) near Tetbury. Cheerful and enthusiastic (preferably experienced in SCI) Live-In Female Carer to start 14 September and to do (approx.) 2 weeks on and 2 weeks off shifts, helping with all aspects of life. The job can go anything from being very routine on a day to day basis with plenty of time off, to fairly hectic when having friends staying or stuff going on. We have a cleaner and someone who helps with the girls but an important part of the job is liking children as although they are more and more independent one of the priorities is their happiness - you definitely aren't expected to look after them but do need a hand with them. Based in the countryside with dogs, chickens and ponies. Would suit someone outdoorsy and flexible who likes animals. Anyone who likes cooking is also a bit of a bonus as it is inevitably part of the job.

There is a separate annexe so you have your own space and someone that feels happy with their own company would probably enjoy the job most. Currently two carers have worked for 9 years and 5 years. Nice job for the right person.
