Elderly Englishman of 82 needs live-in person for shopping, cooking and to provide some care and companionship. 

Rob lives in South West France in a small chateau surrounded by parkland outside the village Mugron. It is 45 minutes inland from Biarritz and the fabulous beaches of the Landes. 

There is separate accommodation, which includes a large ensuite bedroom, mezzanine lounge, and kitchen/dining room.  Rob’s wife is in a rehabilitation centre following a major stroke so part of the job will be driving Rob to visit her. Rob is receiving treatment for cancer and has daily visits from a nurse to check his blood pressure and to assist with showering. Rob will need driving to physio once a week. 

There is an elderly dog who needs walking around the garden. A cleaner is at the house 4 times a week and gardeners. All the family live in the UK and are supportive but cannot be there 24/7.  

Person needs to speak some French, have a driving licence, must have good references and DBS.
