Job Description: General Estate Worker
The General Estate Worker would be expected to support the Estate Foreman and Gardener on their daily tasks.
• General upkeep of the Estate and maintenance to a high standard
• Mowing
• Animal care
• Gardening
• Fencing
• Woodland work
• Security
• 5 days a week - flexibility required as weekends may be required
• Hands on approach
• Available in case of emergencies
Job Description: Housekeeper
• General upkeep of the Main House on Estate to a high standard
• Laundry with good knowledge of different materials
• Overseeing contractors when necessary
• Occasional cooking
• Inventory
• Animal care
• 5 days a week - flexibility required as weekends may be required
• Care of Silver and fine furniture
• Security
• Available in case of emergencies
The successful applicants
• Organised and passionate about their work
• Flexibility - available on weekends
• Willing to learn and open to feedback
• 5 years of experience in a similar role
• Ability to work with little supervision and maintain a high level of performance
• Prioritization and time management skills
• Working quickly without compromising quality
• Knowledge of English language
• Discretion and integrity are of central importance
• Well organized
• Good knowledge of different machinery (General Estate worker) and cleaning procedures (Housekeeper)
