I'm looking for someone to help look after my godfather who lives in a pretty seaside town in Normandy, France. He's a recent widower in his 80s who loves books, art, travel and bells (!), and has just had major surgery. The ideal person would help with building up his strength, cooking healthy meals, some housekeeping and general companionship. Shiny disposition and some French a big plus! Pay and hours negotiable, initially up until end 2020, and beyond if possible (Brexit allowing). Non-smoking house, accommodation and use of car included.
