A wonderful opportunity has arisen for a live-in Housekeeper, to work at one of England’s finest stately homes which is set in 700 acres in the heart of the New Forest. The house has recently undergone refurbishment in the bedrooms and bathrooms which are now themed and open to the public.

We are looking for a live-in Housekeeper to undertake housekeeping within the private quarters of the owners.

Duties will include cleaning, some cooking, receiving guests and assisting with security in the house. Working with the housekeeping team under the House Manager. Most duties will be carried out during the day, but when guests are dining or staying overnight, some evening duties will be necessary with time off in lieu.

• All aspects of housekeeping, cleaning, bed making and laundry and waste management
• Care and cleaning of furniture, pictures and antiques
• Stock keeping for the food and kitchen supplies
• Supporting the on site security team and being on call out of hours
• Preparing light lunches to a high standard
• Running errands , shopping and meeting guests or owners from the station or airport

A recently refurbished one bedroom apartment, all bills included and with separate entrance.
