A beautiful private estate in the village of Coulston, between Devizes and Westbury, is seeking a reliable and experienced housekeeper to join our friendly household team.

The role includes all usual housekeeping duties and occasional cooking assistance. Hours are generally Monday–Friday, 9am–1pm, with some flexibility. When the owners are away, assistance caring for our two friendly dogs is required, together with the estate manager and his wife who also live on site.

There is scope for additional paid hours helping prepare and service a holiday rental property on the estate during guest changeovers.

The position could particularly suit someone relocating with a partner. There may also be work opportunities for a partner with gardening, handyman, maintenance, or mechanical experience to assist the estate gardening team.

A charming cottage is included, available furnished or unfurnished, comprising:

• Living room with open fire (logs supplied)

• Kitchen

• 2 double bedrooms

• Bathroom

• Oil-fired central heating

• Private enclosed garden

This is a long-term position becoming available following the retirement of our much-valued current housekeeper after many happy years with us.
