This is a wonderful opportunity for a live-in or live-out Housekeeper/Cook to join a lovely family in a large country house in the Cotswolds, recently refurbished to the highest standards. This is the family’s primary residence. The role involves ensuring the house runs smoothly, is maintained to an immaculate standard and is welcoming at all times. Duties include high-level housekeeping; laundry, ironing, routine and deep cleaning as well as managing household supplies and inventories. Knowledge of antiques, fine furnishings, and wardrobe care is essential. It would be really appreciated if you enjoyed cooking, able to cook a diverse range from family style to dinner party standard to an excellent level. If you are able to cook to a high standard the family will bring in housekeeping support.

Previous experience in a private country household is essential and you must be prepared to work weekends. A love of cooking would be a real bonus. You must possess strong organisational skills, a meticulous eye for detail and presentation, and a hands-on approach. 

This full-time, 5 days a week, permanent role offers a two bedroom cottage, with utilities paid, and a competitive salary of £40,000 to £55,000 depending on experience.
