*Part-Time Housekeeper Wanted (20 Hours per Week) – Penicuik Area*

We are a warm, fun, and lively family with two young boys (ages 6 and 8) looking for a reliable and detail-oriented housekeeper to help keep our home running smoothly. Our household is busy, energetic and welcoming, and we’re looking for someone who enjoys working in a family environment and takes pride in creating a clean, organised and comfortable home. 

*Location:* We are based near Penicuik. Due to our rural location, a driver is essential.

*Hours:* Approximately 20 hours per week Flexible timings, to be agreed to suit both parties 

*Key Responsibilities:* Daily household and deep cleaning tasks, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, bathrooms and kitchen cleaning. Laundry including washing, folding, ironing and organising clothing, as well as taking clothes to the dry-cleaners as needed. Changing bed linen regularly and maintaining overall cleanliness of the home. Organising wardrobes, cupboards, pantries and common areas.  Supermarket shopping, unpacking groceries and keeping cupboards well organised. Occasional assistance with batch cooking and food preparation. Occasionally helping with errands or special cleaning or organisation projects.

 *Requirements:* Previous housekeeping or domestic experience preferred. Strong attention to detail and excellent time management skills. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced household. Comfortable around children and pets. Confident driver with own transport. Trustworthy, proactive and able to work independently.
