The recruiter is the Abbeyfield Wey Valley Society, a charity offering excellent care for older people.

The Role
This is a part-time, relief role reporting to the General Manager. You will be responsible for cooking meals, providing company and doing occasional shopping.

Person Specification
You will need to undertake safeguarding training and must already have a Food Hygiene qualification.
Flexibility is needed as the successful candidate must be able to cover staff absence in Guildford and Haslemere. Having your own transport is also preferred.

Hours
8am-2pm and/or 4pm-7pm week days and some weekends. This role will cover staff absence on an ad hoc basis.

Pay and Benefits
£10.75 per hour week days with £1 per hour uplift at weekends. Free parking is also offered.

Covid requirements
As you will be working within a sheltered home for elderly residents you will be required to wear a face covering whilst working within the house and be prepared to do a lateral flow test before entering the home.

The role is offered subject to receipt of a satisfactory DBS check and two references.
