A highly regarded Residential Park is seeking to appoint a Site Manager Couple to manage the site. This is to replace our existing Site Manager Couple who are taking retirement
after over 13 years of service.
The position would suit organised, active, reliable, and selfmotivated individuals. The ability to use own initiative to assist in maintaining and improving the site is essential. We aim for excellent customer service, so the ideal team must have excellent communication skills and a passion for delivering the highest standard of service.
This is a family-run residential park home site located in a coastal village approximately 2 miles west of Bognor Regis. We have 271 privately owned pitches, creating a quiet and desirable place to live and work. The estate backs onto the beautiful West Sussex countryside with the city of Chichester nearby.
The successful applicants will be offered a basic salary commensurate with experience, a commission structure based on re-sales, and a workplace pension. Additionally, onsite accommodation is provided plus a company van.
The roles are permanent with a start date around mid-August 2023.
Key Responsibilities
The main duties include but are not limited to:
The day-to-day running of the site. Maintain and develop the site’s infrastructure and grounds to an exceptional standard, including all the outbuildings, hedges, verges, and roads.
Oversee the work of contractors.
Be the first point of contact for all residents and all site maintenance emergencies including drainage, plumbing, and electricals.
Enforcing the site and licensing rules.
Reception duties, general admin, account paperwork, distributing correspondence from the business to all residents, collecting meter readings, and assisting with credit control.
Day-to-day Park security which includes on-call duties throughout the night.
Ensure all equipment is clean and maintained to a high standard, and all necessary periodic testing and maintenance are carried out on a timely basis.
Monitoring re-sales on behalf of the business.
Ensure all Health and Safety regulations are met, and all paperwork is completed.
Provide the necessary cover for our sister site in Box Hill when the site managers there are on leave.
Qualities, Skills & Experience
We are seeking exceptional candidates with the following attributes:
Building and construction industry experience and office and accounts administration skills are most desirable.
Excellent communication skills.
Be approachable, develop positive relations with colleagues, residents, and contractors, and deliver exceptional standards. Ability to motivate.
Proven multi-taskers who are organised, effective, efficient, productive, and with great attention to detail.
Ability to work on your own initiative and research and solve problems.
Full UK driving licence is essential.
Under the Mobile Homes Regulations 2020, the post holders must register as ‘Fit and Proper individuals’; a process requiring DBS checks.
Previous experience in a similar role is desirable but not essential.
