Job description

Our client is looking for an experienced couple to act as Restaurant Manager and Junior Sous Chef / Senior Chef de Partie at a lovely village pub with rooms attached in North West Oxfordshire.  The pub is the heart of the village and hosts a number of quiz, games and food showcase evenings. 

The Restaurant Manager will be running the restaurant greeting patrons and welcoming them to enjoy a convivial evening.  Responsible for opening and closing tasks and assisting with ordering FOH stock. The successful candidate will inspire and train the restaurant team and communicate well with customers and other staff.

The Chef will work to the head chefs and will be cooking all meals using fresh, local, seasonal produce.  The successful candidate will be able to provide consistency in the preparation and presentation of food and have a good knowledge of English cuisine.  

Experience of a busy kitchen with an efficient food service is necessary for both roles, preferably with a Rosette or award background. 

Private rented accommodation can be arranged.  Working 5 days out of 7, approximately 48 hours a week.  Salary is £25,000 for each role.  Start ASAP. (AGY)
