The candidate should be open and willing to learning new skills to support Joseph to live his best life. You must be able to work confidently by yourself as well as to play an important role in a diverse, yet close, team.

It is desirable for the candidate to be confident in various types of business and professional situations as well as having the ability to blend into a fun and young domestic lifestyle.
A clean driving licence is essential, as the Gentleman’s Assistant will be required to drive Joseph in his own vehicle.

Quote from current Personal Assistant (who you may be working with occasionally at the Laurels):
‘Joseph is, quite seriously, one of the most amazing humans I have ever met. Each day I work with him he inspires and motivates me as he has an insatiable drive to live life to the fullest and works extremely hard to make that happen. Joseph is extremely professional yet is also approachable and a lot of fun to work with. Coming from a Case Management/Rehab Management background, I was looking for a personal assistant job with a difference; one where I felt I was making a difference. Working for Joseph has been exactly that. No one day is the same as the next, so you’ll have to be up for learning a lot of new skills (which I love). I’ve learned a great deal from Joseph, but don’t get me wrong, he and the team at Amanda Bairstow Consultants have supported me the whole way along. You will need to be confident regarding your communication (all types) and will need to be open to constructive criticism, where appropriate.’ – PA
