Job description

Full time • Permanent • Residential Required April 2020

We are looking for an experienced female (GOQ) member of staff who has a genuine interest in, and liking for, young people to take day-to-day responsibility for the running of the boarding areas and for line-managing the residential staff who care for the girls. You will have warmth, a sense of humour and sound common sense. You will be robust, resilient, open-minded and flexible in your approach, be willing to take the initiative, and demonstrate good judgement. You will have excellent inter-personal and communication skills; you will lead by example; and you will have, ideally, a background in schools or other caring professions. You will be a confident manager of staff. St Mary’s has its own generous salary scale.

If you are interested, please contact Mrs Nicola MacRobbie on 01344 296710 or recruitment@st-marys-ascot.co.uk Closing date: Tuesday 28 January 2020. First interview will be held: Wednesday 5 February 2020.
