Live in House Sitter / Security Person with Part Time Duties

This is a unique opportunity to join a small busy family run estate, assisting with the security and caretaking of a Grade 1 listed building open to the public.
You will be responsible on a part time basis for the security in this large Country House open to the public near Peterborough.
The post requires that you live on site and that you fill in when our full-time employee is off duty and on holiday.
You will be responsible for security and house sitting for at least 52 week nights and 7 full weekends per year. You will also be required to work 20 full mid-week days when the full-time security employee is off duty, the hours will be 8am to 5.30pm
You may also be required to carry out some other duties, including walking and feeding the family dogs.
The job requires someone with commitment and responsibility who either has a pension or additional employment nearby during the normal working day.
Good communication and the ability to work alone and occasionally as part of a team, are essential for this role. A flexible approach is also essential.
The individual must be physically fit, as there are a lot of stairs, trustworthy, loyal, honest and be fluent in English. A supportive team player.
A two-bedroom self-contained onsite flat (no garden) will be provided, council tax included. Utility bills will be the tenant’s responsibility.
Any additional security and household duties will be paid on an hourly basis.
Start date negotiable to the right candidate.
Salary £5,000 per annum plus the accomodation.
