Job description

A shared Nanny role for two parents recently separated in Summertown, Oxfordshire.

The parents live close to each other, a ten minute drive and are looking for an experienced Nanny to fit in with their arranged schedule and help with their two young girls age 4.5 and 6.5 who are at a local private school.

Our client, a busy international traveler that runs her own business, has a family home in Oxford and is looking for a full time professional to undertake the full range of duties.  She is single and shares parental responsibility for their two, school aged children with her ex-husband, who also lives in Oxford.

Her home is a 3 bedroomed house just outside Summertown and she requires someone who can support her to ensure all aspects of care are met for her children and has a strong interest in all developmental aspects. We are looking for a candidate who will be able to assist the mother with organizing the children’s weekly schedule and take full responsibility plus sole charge/proxy parenting as and when needed.

A Nanny who has perhaps worked within a school setting at some point or has relevant qualifications as they feel their eldest Daughter needs that little bit of extra attention currently to help her with school work.

The mother will have the children every Wednesday, and the other 4 days of the week the children will be at their fathers so the nanny will care for them there.

Someone who is happy to cook healthy meals for the children too would be a bonus and enjoys meal planning.

The Mother is looking for someone long term who will very much become part of the family and be easily adaptable to the requirements within the home.

Hours are 40 per week, with some of this flexible as they do require every other weekend when the mother has the children.

There is also the possibility of occasional travel to support the mother when on holiday with her children.  A spare room is available should any overnight stays be required.

Hours will be Mon-Fri 3-7pm and two weekends a month 7.30am-7pm Saturday and 7.30am-6pm Sunday

40 hours per week including two weekends a month

£30,000pa Gross
