Grounds Maintenance (Live-in) - Yorkshire YO41
We require an experienced and enthusiastic person to join our team maintaining the Hall, garden and grounds. The successful candidate must be competent with horticultural machinery and able to work with minimal supervision. The role requires someone experienced in grounds maintenance (minimum 3 years’ relevant experience) and with good basic handyman skills.
The candidate must be experienced in the use of pesticides, chainsaws, mowers and hedge-trimmers. Relevant certificates/qualifications are advantageous, but not essential.
The role requires the individual to be motivated and flexible with a keen eye for detail.
Regular caretaking duties, including monitoring the premises, are carried out on a 1-in-3 rota (1 in 3 evenings/weekends). The caretaking role also involves ad hoc driving duties therefore a full UK Driving Licence is required.
Occasional butlering duties may be required (no previous experience necessary).
Hours: Basic hours are 39 per week; plus weekend/evening caretaking and driving duties (on a 1-in-3 rota)
