Outstanding Country Estate requires security/maintenance handyperson - London

We operate an exclusive residential estate in London, and we are looking for a flexible, adaptable and enthusiastic security/maintenance handyperson with a ‘can do’ attitude and attention to detail to join an outstanding service delivery team.

The team includes housekeepers, gardeners and security that works alongside a property management department.

The role will involve monitoring the CCTV system and liaising with our internal and external security, to create a secure perimeter, and internal environment, responding, if needed, to any incidents and to clear false alerts. Whilst experience in security would be useful, being alert, responsive and proactive is more important.

The broader elements of the role will include carrying out both planned and reactive maintenance activity both within the main house and any of the other 8 properties on the site.  You will be able to complete, for example, minor decoration, carpentry and making good works and troubleshooting anything from heating systems to basic IT/AV systems.  Where qualified trades are required to complete works, you will be required to oversee them on site and ensure works are completed to agreed standards.
