I am looking for a qualified relief carer for my 80 yr old, active wife who has Alzheimer's and Type 1 diabetes. The position is for a live-in carer, 2 days a week, mainly weekends, starting at the beginning of August ideally. Responsibilities involve companionship, countryside walking, cooking and personal care (help with bathing and dressing). The carer must be kind, gentle and genuinely caring with some experience of Alzheimer's. No diabetic experience or involvement necessary. Car owner preferred. £150/dy.
