There is an opportunity to join the private caring team for a very sociable 88-year-old lady who is now wheelchair bound, living in a lovely village in Northeast Somerset in a comfortable detached bungalow. She needs personal care, administration of medication, support with daily activities, as well as some meals prepared. Mobility requirements include the use of a mechanical stand aid, and help with changing position. 
We require a second live-in carer to rotate cover with an existing carer (rotation to be agreed). There is a 4 hour break each day provided by day carers, and night-time duties are by exception rather than regular.  

Would be ideally suited for an experienced female carer who is cheerful and empathetic and looking to join a positive supportive team who are all based locally. Must also be comfortable with a small, elderly and extremely well-behaved dog!
