SOMERLEY ESTATE – HEAD HOUSEKEEPER

An energetic and proactive Housekeeper is sought to join our team here at Somerley. The successful candidate will work closely with the owners looking after the house which they occupy as well as being involved in the preparation & support with corporate functions, weddings and filming. Duties also include the management of three holiday cottage rentals on the Estate.

Suitably qualified applicants will ideally have a good level of experience in the housekeeping / cleaning sector and will be required to support our Events team in delivering excellent service to our clients. Good time management and productivity is imperative together with being able to be versatile with all that the role entails. 

A rent-free cottage will be provided as well as a pool car for business use. Your own vehicle will be required as the Estate is in a rural location. Salary will be in the region of £27,500.  Weekend and evening work will be required throughout the year which will be paid overtime or taken as time off in lieu.
