LIVE-IN COUPLE, in RIPLEY, SURREY needed to manage gorgeous private estate.
We are seeking a wonderful couple to manage and take care of our weekend family residence, especially busy during the shooting season.
Combined duties include:
Ensuring that the Security of the family, house and its contents are covered at all times, including monitoring alarm systems (burglar and fire).
Care of the large house. Cleaning, organizing and managing to exceptional standards.
Silver polishing and care of a large selection of china. Cleaning and caring for household valuables including art and rugs.
Looking after owners 2 Labrador dogs.
Some laundry and ironing, including wardrobe management. Packing and unpacking.
Cooking simple meals when the chef is not present. Organise and do shopping, liaising with the chef and principal. Clean the kitchen to a very high standard.
Preparing for arrival of family and guests, welcoming them, and caring for their various needs. Detailed attention to the preparation and presentation of the bedlinens and bathrooms.
Working in the large and very beautiful garden as part of a team.
Managing other members of staff.
The specific roles can be adapted, according to applicants skills and disposition.
About 40 hours weekly, flexible. Days off are Wednesday and Thursday, or at weekends when principals are not in residence. When required to work in the evening, remuneration or equivalent free time will be given, as preferred .
Must be very dynamic, motivated, positive and upbeat people. UK driving licence, excellent checkable references, non-smokers.
Dogs and animals lovers, but regrettably no pets of their own.
