Our clients are seeking an experienced and versatile Live-In Couple for a long-term role on a private estate.

The role requires the couple to be enthusiastic and competent gardeners, to include grass cutting, hedge trimming, planting, looking after the vegetable garden and grounds maintenance. Experience with ride on mowers and quad bikes are essential.

Supporting the existing Housekeeper with housekeeping and laundry to a high standard, maintenance and repairs and driving the principals to London once or twice a week.

You must be animal lovers as the principals have 12 alpacas and two dogs which will need looking after when they are away.

You will manage maintenance schedules and diaries, to anticipate needs, avoiding last-minute issues through proactive planning. 

The working week is 9-5 over 5 days. Flexibility is key as there will be some weekend working, by prior arrangement, with time off in lieu.

Strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work proactively and efficiently within a structured role as part of a small team are essential. Accommodation is a well-appointed 2-bed cottage, (double ensuite), with utility bills included. A very competitive salary is on offer to the successful couple. A valid DBS certificate and recent checkable references are required.
