Large rural Staffordshire-based family looking for a live-in couple to work part-time. Would suit a semi-retired couple or someone happy to take on additional work. The right couple must have a cheerful, hands-on approach, be practical, adaptive, discrete, and work to high standards. A love of children and dogs is a must, as is a willingness to house sit when the family are away.

The housekeeper role includes spotless cleaning, ironing and laundry, as well as simple family cooking, occasional after-school and holiday childcare and errand running. 21 hours per week, across 3-5 days as suits. The groundsman and maintenance role includes mowing and garden management, use and care of garden machinery, wood store management, pest and weed control, general house maintenance, and potential future care of livestock.  In the region of 8-10 hours/week at present, with occasional evening and weekend driving on top.

Flexibility offered in that the couple can share the roles between them if they wish. The accommodation available is a spacious, newly refurbished 2 bed cottage with ample living area within the courtyard of the main house. Full driving licences and own vehicle is essential.

Recent references and an Enhanced DBS with barred list check will be required.
