Very attractive room with en suite bathroom to let, in exceptionally beautiful surroundings in the Scottish Borders, near the historic town of Melrose, and an hour's drive from Edinburgh. It is also within easy reach of the local hospital, the BGH.

This room would particularly suit an artist or writer or somebody doing research, or just working from home, or somebody interested in nature     It is very peaceful and quiet. There is a large and beautiful garden, bordering woodland with a river running through it.

For somebody who might be interested, there could be studio / office space in addition - to be discussed.

I am happy to rent out this room, and possible studio space, for a small rent, in the region of £200.00 for a small amount of help. (I do employ cleaning help already) I am a professional artist, myself, and am also a musician. I would love to find somebody who might broadly share my interests, which also include literature and poetry, science, psychology, gardening, and more besides. I am passionate about Cats and have worked, with my art, to raise money for Big Cats. I love all animals and birds.

I have a dog (A Cavalier King Charles Spaniel) and an elderly adored Bengal cat, so would not like to bring another animal into the house at present, while my Cat is still alive.
