Key Responsibilities
Culinary & Formal Service
Triple-Meal Service: Prepare and serve a refined Lunch and a high-quality Dinner on both working days.
Fortnightly Afternoon Tea: Every two weeks, prepare and serve a formal Afternoon Tea at a time decided by the Principal, featuring loose-leaf tea, finger sandwiches, and warm scones.
Table Setting & Clearing: Expertly lay the table for all meals; provide silent, unobtrusive clearing and reset the dining area to a pristine state.
Beverage Service: Full bar and wine service; ensuring the cellar is managed and drinks are served to preference.
Wardrobe & Valeting
• Master of the Wardrobe: Expert care of all garments, including professional laundering, steam-pressing, and meticulous organization.
• Shoe Care: Cleaning, polishing, and buffing all footwear to a high-shine, pristine condition.
• Travel Prep: Expert packing and unpacking of luggage for the Principal’s trips.
Chauffeur & Fleet Management
• Professional Driving: Provide smooth, punctual transportation to appointments or social engagements during working days.
• Vehicle Readiness: Weekly "start and run" of all vehicles to maintain battery and engine health.
• Logistics: Driving vehicles to the local garage for professional valeting, fueling, and scheduled maintenance/MOTs.
Estate Presentation
• Outdoor Staging: Ensure the tennis court and patios are cleared of debris with a leaf blower.
• Cushion Management: Set out and store outdoor furniture cushions as required, ensuring they are protected from the elements and never left out overnight.
House Sitting & Travel
• House Sitting: Provide a secure presence at the estate when the Principal is away, ensuring the property remains in "ready-to-return" condition.
• Occasional Travel: Accompany the Principal on domestic or international trips to manage wardrobes and provide concierge-level support.
Candidate Requirements
• Professional Background: Significant experience in formal private service (Butler/Valet).
• Driving: A clean, valid UK driving license with experience in luxury vehicles.
• UHNW house experience essential
• Passport: Valid passport and availability for occasional international travel.
Attributes: Absolute discretion, a "see it, do it" proactive mindset, and a refined touch.
Accommodation: Private high standard staff quarters provided on the top floor of the manor
