We are looking for an experienced, enthusiastic couple for a full‑time, long‑term position running our 20‑acre family home. Both partners should be confident drivers, love dogs and be happy to care for our two spaniels (including regular walks) while we are often away.

Key duties, to be divided between the couple as appropriate, include: general property care (security, routine maintenance, overseeing contractors, acting as the “eyes and ears” of the house and grounds), year‑round care and presentation of the gardens and grounds (flowers, borders, shrubs, lawns and kitchen garden), housekeeping (cleaning, laundry, simple family cooking and some weekend entertaining support), regular driving for local errands and a monthly trip to our London property, plus occasional travel to our home in Provence if desired. Care and basic maintenance of the household cars, including a couple of vintage vehicles, is also required.

We are frequently out of residence, so you should be able to work confidently on your own initiative, be highly organised and flexible about working some weekends.

A self‑contained apartment on the property is provided. Previous experience in similar private household roles is highly desirable.
