JUNIOR HANDYMAN/GROUNDSMAN Chipping Norton
Our client is seeking a local, live-out Junior Handyman/Groundsman to support the smooth running of their countryside/weekend residence near Chipping Norton.
This role would suit someone with a practical, hands-on attitude who has already gained some basic experience in maintenance or grounds work and is keen to develop their skills further on the job .You will be working in a beautiful rural estate setting, helping to maintain both the interior and exterior of the property and assisting the wider household team when required.
Duties outline but limited to:
General DIY and maintenance tasks around the house and grounds
Interior and exterior painting and decorating
Supporting the maintenance of outdoor areas, including pathways, fences, and garden structures
Assisting with light facilities management and internal repair tasks
Laying and lighting fires within the home
Providing ad-hoc support to the household team as needed
Ideal Candidate:
Some previous experience in a similar handyman, groundsman, or maintenance role
Willingness to learn on the job and take direction
Strong practical skills and a good eye for detail
Able to work independently and as part of a team
Trustworthy, reliable, and proactive
Must live locally to the Chipping Norton area and hold a full UK driving licence

Hours: 5 days a week
Salary: 30,000-32,000 gross per annum
