Self-employed live in carer required for 55 y.o. gentleman with Down Syndrome & early stage dementia. To work with day carer supporting daily activities at home and in the community. Must be a competent driver. Responsibilities include personal care, meal planning, preparation of healthy meals from scratch, laundry, light housework. Work rota is two weeks on, two weeks off. Essential attributes; Patience, compassion, flexibility, initiative, enthusiasm, plenty of energy, good sense of humour, non-smoker. We are a holistically minded family, using organic food, homeopathy and natural medicines where possible, and would prefer applicants to be unvaccinated.
