Our clients based in the Cotswolds near Wotton Under Edge is seeking a passionate, experienced, and motivated person to join their Private Estate team in the capacity of Estate Foreman/Handyperson (m/f). The candidate should be detailed, organised and with a positive approach.
Job Description: General Estate Worker
• Caring for horses, pigs, poultry, goats, alpaca and sheep and rare breeds. Breeding of animals and rearing of poultry. Demonstrating and creating high welfare standards
• Maintenance of woodlands, river, fencing, tracks, walling, hedge laying, tree planting
• Maintenance and cleaning of vehicles and other machinery
• Ensuring security of the House and Estate
• Maintenance of records relating to Farm and Estate operations.
• Coordinating and ensuring completion of daily, weekly and monthly Farm/Estate tasks (Tasks provided by House Manager).
• Undertake vermin and Keeping records.
• Assist with production/delivery of firewood and woodchip.
• Deer stalking/control subject to licence
• Any other duties as reasonably required.
• Overseeing any contractors when necessary
• Keeping all buildings in and around the Estate tidy and clean.
• Driving as required
• Tractor handling
• If required helping with other properties on the Estate including Holiday lets.
• Inventory and stock list keeping.
