Our lovely new client is looking for a live-in Housekeeper for their estate near Oxford. The household is semi-formal, and the principal is in residence every weekend. During the summer holidays and Christmas the principal tends to stay for longer periods of time.

Housekeeping of a 10-bed house to a very high standard. Silver polishing and care for the family china. Supporting the family chef for food/grocery orders and deliveries and cook small meals if the chef is not present. Table service, both formal and informal. Wardrobe management, laying fires, flower arranging and help with the family dog. 

Working hours are flexible but 8-4pm most days and weekends would need to be worked with two days off in the week (either Tuesday/Wednesday or Wednesday/Thursday). If there is a weekend when the principal is not at the property, then the days off can be swapped. Must be available to work Christmas and Easter holidays.

Beautiful two-bedroom with large kitchen and sitting room self-contained apartment available which is part of the estate but with its own entrance. Utility bills covered by the employer. Well-behaved pets are permitted.

You must be motivated, positive, and discreet with meticulous attention to detail and pride in all work undertaken. 

Full driving licence, valid DBS check, and recent checkable references.
