A professional family cook is required for a family on a traditional rural estate in South-West Scotland to work as part of a team.  The role is to cook family meals, high standard dinner party and corporate food as well as preparing food during the summer for a small tea-room. 

Be passionate about food and able to cook in a wide variety of cuisines and be able to work with fresh produce, fish, meat (including game), sourced locally.

The successful candidate should be country loving, positive, friendly, flexible, a non-smoker and have a genuine passion for cooking.  You should also be children/family friendly and hold a current clean driving licence. Partners are welcome.

The position is live out (of the main house) and accommodation can be provided nearby. 

The role is based on a 5-day week, will include some split shifts and weekends during busy times of the year.

A valid DBS certificate with excellent references.  A competitive salary is offered to the successful candidate. (AGY)
