Radley College is an independent boarding school of about 760 boys situated five miles from Oxford.  

We have a vacancy for a Matron (PHM) required to assist in the running of one of our Socials (boarding houses) which currently houses c70 boys.  The ideal candidate will demonstrate a warm personality and an interest in the wellbeing and development of teenage boys.  They will have good organisational skills, an understanding and tolerant nature and work well in a team. This residential role is dedicated to the care, development and support of the boarding pupils. Flexibility, resilience and commitment to a residential boarding post are essential requirements. 

Whilst we would welcome applications from those who have had previous matron or relevant experience, we would also encourage applications from anyone who has a genuine interest in working with children and would like to gain experience in working in a boarding environment.
