This unique housing association centrally located  in Pinner, Middlesex close to tube station and shops requires a live-in Manager.

Pinner House Society Ltd is a charitable housing association that provides 30 tenanted flats for independent living by elderly persons with a resident manager and deputy manager on site providing 24 hour presence.    

We are looking for someone who has relevant experience and good health who is committed to providing the full range of management, care and support duties involved in a sheltered housing scheme (with the support of a Deputy who also lives on site). The full range of duties are set out in our job description (available on request) which include making daily contact with each tenant, organising repairs and maintenance to ensure the premises are kept to a high standard and organising social activities. The post requires working to a rota involving some weekend working in a mix of “on duty” and “on call” as part of a team led by the Resident Manager.  We also maintain a pool of bank staff to cover for holidays and sickness absences. 

A two bedroom flat is provided to the manager free of charge (including council tax).  The remuneration and benefits include a starting salary of £23,000, free accommodation, heating and council tax with 21 days paid annual holidays
