Services Welfare Officers provide welfare support to newly recruited soldiers at army bases within the UK and abroad.

We are looking for applicants with experience in working in a welfare setting, which might include youth and community work, social work, education or healthcare. Living in mess accommodation, you will provide a confidential and sensitive welfare service, supporting soldiers on a one to one basis, helping them to find solutions to personal and practical issues, or using your judgement to signpost them to other support agencies where appropriate. 36 hours per week over 6 days, covering days, evenings and weekends.
